Qashqa'i

Qashqa’i is Turkic clans living in Southern Iran, they are nomadic pastoralists travels with their flocks twice yearly between the summer and winter pastures. In 2008, I encountered one of these tribes near Bandra Abas and documented their traditional lifestyle which is increasingly endangered by the pasture decline and arranged settlements.
